Storeman - Fmcg/central Kitchen

Are you organized, reliable, and passionate about ensuring smooth operations in **FMCG or restaurant trade**?

We are seeking a skilled **Storeman** to join our team and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in our storage facilities.

You will oversee the receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatching of goods including dry goods, perishables, ambient, chilled, frozen products, and alcohol - helping our operation stay stocked, safe, and productive.

**Duties**:

- Receive and dispatch stock accurately
- Verify quantities, quality, and expiry dates
- Store and rotate stock correctly (FIFO/FEFO)
- Keep accurate system and paper records
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock counts
- Manage stock holding of approximately R400,000
- Maintain safe and hygienic store areas
- Support audits and compliance checks

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum **3 years experience in FMCG and/or restaurant stock control roles.**:

- Demonstrated experience handling multiple food product categories.
- Experience with stock control systems / POS / ERP preferred.
- Valid drivers licence and own vechile required

**Knowledge, Skills & Competencies**
- Strong understanding of stock control processes.
- Good numeric accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with FEFO/FIFO stock rotation.
- Ability to work in cold/freezer environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, reliable, and self-disciplined.

**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to lift and move stock items.
- Ability to work in cold storage environments for short periods.
