**About the Role**

**Core role requirements**
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop BIM models and documentation for wastewater projects.
- Create and manage 3D models, clash detection, and coordination of design elements.
- Utilize BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD) to generate accurate and detailed construction drawings.
- Assist in the development of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for the wastewater department.
- Coordinate with other disciplines within the project team to ensure efficient and accurate information exchange.
- Perform clash detection and resolution to minimize design conflicts.
- Support project managers in delivering projects within specified timelines and budgets.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and methodologies and share knowledge with the team.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a BIM Technician, preferably on the wastewater projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
- Solid understanding of wastewater engineering principles, terminology, and construction practices.
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to generate accurate and precise drawings.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with clash detection, coordination, and clash resolution processes.
- Familiarity with Irish regulations and standards related to wastewater projects is desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
