**_Position Purpose: _**
- This position calls for an experienced developer who is able to evaluate and provide robust and efficient solutions to address
systems thereby allowing all levels of SAP users immediate access to accurate, valid, complete and relevant data on a daily
basis and thus facilitating business operations.
**_Position outputs: _**
Create test plans and perform unit and integration testing
Manage the changes to the different clients within SAP in accordance to the TPL Change control procedures.
Conduct Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, Maintenance and Optimization of:
1. Reports and queries for the SAP system and SAP Portal
2. Interfaces between SAP, Portal and external systems
3. Workflow functionality
4. Custom/dialog developments
Research new SAP modules and functionality
Perform technical duties within all stages of the system development life cycle
standards
Transfer SAP and general IT knowledge to the User Community
Compile and maintain all development related documentation
Provide technical support on projects and system issues
Participate in design efforts and discussions and provide initial estimates of effort for design and development to ensure
timelines are met
Research and trouble-shoot system performance and stability issues
**_Qualifications & Experience: _**
Degree in Information Technology with
3 - 5 years’ IT relevant experience or a
National Higher Diploma with 5 - 8
years’ IT relevant experience and
training in the following areas:

- Business and/or systems analysis and design
- ABAP development with exposure to full SAP implementations and integration with non-SAP systems.
- ABAP development in SAP IS-OIL, FI, SD, MM, QM & PM modules
- Integration technologies such as Web Services, XML transformations, etc.
Further qualification required:

- SAP ABAP certification.
