**Responsibilities**:

- Creating and developing a strategic long term plan for the development of the category
- Building and driving relationships with key vendors to improve pricing and quality of services
- Identifying and developing brands within the category
- Negotiating & implementing agreements, rebate structures, etc with existing and new vendors
- Managing budget development and revenue for the category
- Developing strong working relationships with commercial teams to support strategic development of the category
- Regular commercial activity to retain existing relationships and establish new relationships within the industry - local & international travel (Supplier & Client visits)
- Plan & implement strategic supplier visits to clients to increase sales
- Preparation of quotations & presentations to clients based on end-to-end needs (Log, Warehouse, Financing, Etc) from receipt/identification of opportunity ensuring clients specific needs are met
- Placing appropriate orders to ensure product delivery to clients timely
- Reporting on Profitability per Job and for department. Along with other commercial reporting requirements
- Supporting of all activities with the Business unit for the success of the business as a whole
- Any other duty that is reasonable and relevant to this position

- Fluent in French

**Salary**: From R25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Category Management in FMCG environment: 3 years (required)
- Sales and Marketing: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- French (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
