**Purpose of the Job**:
To assist in managing a Medirite pharmacy and, if necessary, take responsibility as the pharmacist in charge when required.

- People and enabling capacity management / Resourcing, Manage cross functional relationships e.g. with prescribers, suppliers, Head Office, Store manager, Cash office
- Resolve escalated operational issues; Budget management.

**LEADERSHIP**
- Staffing decisions
- Developing and tutoring of staff, interns and assistants
- Motivated and discipline team

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**
- BPharm / equivalent qualification
- Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)

**Desirable**
- Registered tutor

**Experience**:

- Experience working in a retail pharmacy

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Dispensing knowledge
- Knowledgeable with regard to pharmacy legislation
- Customer service/focus
- Good communication and listening skills
- Sound numerical skills
- Able to deal with pressure
- Computer literate - MS Office
