**Fitter Machinist**

Our client seeks to appoint a qualified Fitter Machinist with a minimum of _5 years machine shop_ _experience_ to join this small and experienced team. Be responsible for making and machining of parts and spares for high speed assembly machines.
- Requirements_
- Red Seal or similar qualification will be advantageous
- Minimum 5 years’ experience on conventional milling machine & bench lathe.
- Previous experience on CNC milling machine will be advantageous.
- Must be able to read and make parts from drawings.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to report back to engineering on possible improvements or issues that arise.
- Must be forward thinking and be able to develop ideas to increase efficiency on mass production parts.
- Must be ready to work as part of small experienced team and be willing to debate ideas and take criticism.
- Must be a self-starter and willing to work without constant supervision.
- Responsibilities_
- Run a small machine shop comprising of a lathe, milling machine and 3-axis CNC milling machine.
- Be responsible for making and machining of parts and spares for high speed assembly machines
- Manufacture components as per drawing for use in our standardised product range.

**Salary**: R12,000.00 - R18,000.00 per month
