Our client based in Sandton is looking for an excellent executor with broad commercial experience. Our client is innovative, creative and original in their operational style. This role will appeal to an individual who would like to work with a team of vibrant legal leaders with entrepreneurial drive.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Assisting in the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts and related agreements
- Reviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions
- Communicating with clients to understand their instructions
- Preparing and editing contract details
- Assisting clients in rectifying and handling contract breaches
- Making amendments to existing contracts
- Ensuring that the contract terms comply with the legal guidelines
- Conducting in-depth research before preparing contractual agreements
- Collaborating with other lawyers in the firm to discuss and debate contract contents
- Ensuring that the contract language is legally binding
- Assisting clients with contract termination and fulfilment (including meeting of CPs)
- Managing document/contract register including active follow up with clients
- Examining and advising on business transactions
- Offering help and legal support to clients when dealing with business transactions
- Assisting and advising client’s businesses on preventing legalities and resolving complex legal issues
- Offering expertise to clients in forming various company processes and policies
- Explaining business/company laws and their legal implications to clients
- Examining client’s business operations and advising them on potential legal outcomes

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors of Law Degree (LLB)
- Admitted Attorney of the High Court
- A minimum of 5 years post admission experience as a commercial attorney in a large corporate firm
- Computer literate and confident with Microsoft Office
- Complete understanding of legal procedures, guidelines and terminologies
- Fluency in English
