Financial Advisor

My client in South Africa is a very reputable financial planning and investment management brokerage at the top of their sport. They specialise in helping South African professionals, and provide financial solutions for those keen to plan for their financial futures. They pride ourselves on the quality of advice delivered by highly qualified and exceptional individuals.

They are currently looking for South African financial advisors to be based in Cape Town, Durban or in the Johannesburg / Gauteng region.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- RE5 Financial Services qualifications
- 3 years managing personal book of clients.
- Proven working experience as an investment adviser or relevant experience
- Track record of successful financial guidance
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Good Computer and Microsoft Office skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide strategic advice across a variety of financial products and services
- Assess client’s overall financial picture, understand their needs and develop a solid financial plan
- Guide clients towards a profitable and secure financial decision
- Keep abreast of new industry’s trends and research market to back up financial consulting
- Comply with all local South Africa industry rules and regulations

THE ADVISOR VALUE PROPOSITION:

- Advisers get officially appointed under the my clients FSP
- New appointments get training support of R11 500 in the first two months, or R23 000 once off.
- Advisers earn a vesting bonus for the first 24 months on top of the commission. This bonus really boosts your income earnings.
- Qualify for an interest free technology loan of R20 000 should the advisor need a new laptop or printer ect
- Advisors can still benefit from their existing flows (recurring income) should they move over to Sanlam as we have an independent subsidiary to allow advisors to broker note their clients with.
- My clients brokerage will pay 50% of their trail flows to the advisors chosen beneficiary should the advisor pass away. (No other advisory offers this)
- Qualifies for our regional and overseas conventions
- Advisers can earn a 13th cheque (performance bonus) which is payable at the end of December
- E.g. an adviser doing 100 000 new business commission (average per month) and growing 15% year on year will earn a bonus of R75 000 in December; no growth year on year = a bonus of R45 000; bonus increases from 0% growth to 15% growth in increments of 2%
- E.g. an adviser doing 50 000 new business commission (average per month) and growing 15% year on year will earn a bonus of R30 000 in December; no growth year on year = a bonus of R15 000; bonus increases from 0% growth to 15% growth in increments of 2%
- E.g. an adviser doing 150 000 new business commission (average per month) and growing 15% year on year will earn a bonus of R150 000 in December; no growth year on year = a bonus of R105 000; bonus increases from 0% growth to 15% growth in increments of 2%

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- financial services: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- RE5 certificate (preferred)
