- Veterinary Services Specialist (poultry), in the Veterinary Services department.**Summary of position**:

- Within the Business Units (with a local / Regional presence) - acting as a Technical Expert in terms of the Company's Product Ranges, responding to product related questions and issues, and guiding/supporting Customers, and Company's Territory Managers, towards successful Veterinary Services outcomes.- Being involved in generating a solid network of Professionals and Key Stakeholders within the industry.
- Being responsible for the continuous monitoring of products, analysing data and preparing presentations for clients (at least 50% of time spent in the field with customers.)

**Main Activities**:

- Implementation of the company's Global Protection Services locally
- Perform field surveys in support of the company's Poultry vaccines.
- Technical product support to the poultry team and Company's customers
- Client education and training on the Company's Products and aspects of poultry production
- Global Protection Service database management
- Client feedback regarding survey and monitoring results in the form of PowerPoint Presentations.
- Troubleshooting management
- Conducting scientific and commercial trials to demonstrate the value of the Company's products.
- Key Opinion Leader management
- Liaise with Zone and Global veterinary services personnel concerning problems and Opportunities.**Inherent Requirements**

**Requirements**:

- B. V.SC / DVM degree.
- Poultry and Poultry production experience are essential.
- Strong Computer literacy skills on MS Office (Intermediate level). Specifically, PowerPoint and Excel skills are essential.
- Fluent in English.
- Valid driver’s license and own motor vehicle required.
- Ability to operate independently as well as part of a team. Being a good team player is essential.
- Willing to travel long distances within South Africa and neighbouring countries.
