Solar Installer Assistant

**SUMMARY OF POSITION**

This role enables us to deliver electrical services and installations to our clients with a standard of excellence and in compliance with the relevant legislative requirements

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Major Responsibilities**

− Carry out installation of solar PV Panels, pull wiring etc

− Adhere to all health and safety requirements

− Conformance with relevant Codes and Standards
- **Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Responsibilities**

− Report any deviations that could lead to an accident

− Participate in Safety Training to improve safety standards

− Report incidents and accidents before the end of a shift

− Adhere to the Company's Health and Safety policy and procedure

− Look after your own safety and that of other employees

− Ensure that the SHEQ Management System requirements are met towards customer, internal, ISO, regulatory / legal requirements.

− Manage and perform all internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the Organization's products.

− Work with Customers, Colleagues and Contractors towards continual improvement of the Management system and report the need for improvement to Management.

− Keep up standards and regulations with respect to Products and Services
- **Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities in line with your capabilities and at the request of your Superior**

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

− PV Installer or similar training

− Working at Heights certificate

− Driver’s license

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**

− Good working knowledge of PV solar industry

− Strong technical knowledge

− Experience installing panels using good health and safety

− Self-motivated with good time management skills and ability to priorities your workload

− Focus on customer service

− Good initiative and attention to detail

− Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

− Trustworthiness

− Must be presentable and conduct him/herself professionally

− Passionate about the environment and solar energy
