Job Specification: Part-Time Marketing Consultant

Location:Durban

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customizing and Branding Learning Materials:

- Develop engaging and effective learning materials tailored to the accounting and training sectors.

2. Social Media Marketing:

- Create and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Manage content creation and scheduling across platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Track and analyze social media performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

3. Google Ads Management:

- Develop and manage Google Ads campaigns to drive traffic and leads.
- Monitor and optimize ad performance through effective keyword targeting and budget management.

4. Marketing Material Development:

- Design and produce thematic marketing materials, including brochures and catalogues, that effectively showcase our offerings.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all marketing collateral.

5. Portfolio and References:

- Maintain an up-to-date portfolio demonstrating relevant work in the accounting and training sectors.
- Provide traceable references from previous clients or employers to affirm experience and expertise.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing, particularly in the accounting or training industries.
- Strong understanding of social media marketing and Google Ads.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in creating educational or training materials.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

- This is a part-time consulting position with flexible hours.
- Remote work may be possible, with occasional in-person meetings in Durban.
