**As the** Head: Group Talent Solutions, your role is to align with the Head: Group Talent and Learning solutions to deploy the Talent strategy. The role ensures broad Talent operational excellence providing comprehensive business solutions & results. The role collaborates with business leaders and other People practices to research, build, evaluate and implement frameworks and manage execution of the end-to-end Talent function for the Group, which includes processes associated with: Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Succession Planning (top down), Career Management (bottom up), Psychometric assessments, and graduate recruitment. The role also determines the Acquisition framework in conjunction with the Recruitment Service Delivery team and defines the full assessment practice and associated competency management components for successful employee assessment and development alongside the L&D team. The Head: Group Talent Solutions achieves success by leveraging talent as a strategic asset and critical enabler that drives competitive advantage and organisational performance.
**Role Description**
Employee Centric Delivery
- Designing, developing, executing and monitoring of Talent Management related solutions and services for the Group.
- Managing the development of the Talent Management Strategy for the Group in collaboration with the CPO, People Partners, Head People Solutions & Services, Divisional People Teams as well as the People Solutions and Service Delivery Teams in order to deliver on the proposed employee value proposition and experience.
- Managing the implementation and maintenance of the Talent Management Framework which informs the sourcing, development and management of talent within the company.
- Managing implementation of Talent Management Strategy against agreed timeframes, budget and report against performance measures
- Developing the recruitment practices and processes for the company.
- Ensuring the development and implementation of the Strategic Workforce Plan to build a pipeline of key talent.
- Managing the Groups Graduate Recruitment and Educational Scheme, comprising Bursaries, Loans and Interest free Loans by ensuring optimal spend of the Educational Trust Budgeting the medium to long term Talent needs of the organisation.
- Managing graduate and intern recruitment programmes for the Group to build a pipeline of skills and support CSI initiatives.
- Developing and delivering on strategic leadership development programmes for all leaders.
- Driving the development of retention and development programmes for the talent pool in collaboration with Learning and Development, Reward and Effectiveness and People Partners.
- Overseeing competency and talent assessments.
- Overseeing the development of Performance Management policies, frameworks and processes for the Group
- Overseeing mobility management, including succession management for talent.
- Identifying and managing critical talent pools.
- Managing the leadership identification and tracking processes.
- Managing the development of succession plans for all critical roles across the business ensuring that development plans are in place and are monitored.
- Managing the development and delivery of strategic leadership development programmes for all leaders, aligned to the strategic objectives of the organisation.
- Managing the development of leadership and organisational capability solutions, appropriate for each division.
People (Self, Team & Organisational)
- Developing and leading the Talent team to deliver solutions and services to the business.
- Driving enablement of an innovative, agile and employee centric culture where employees are supported, empowered and valued within the Talent team.
- Driving enablement of an employee wellness culture within the Talent team to ensure that employees are supported mentally, physically and emotionally.
- Driving enablement of a culture of open and transparent communication within the Group Productivity team to ensure that employees are informed of developments timeously.
Financial, Reporting and BI
- Developing a budget for Group Talent.
- Managing the Group Talent management costs whilst ensuring service delivery to the business.
- Driving the collection and use of people data and business intelligence to transform the delivery of Group Talent services.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensuring that Group Talent complies with relevant labour relations frameworks and legislation.
- Ensuring compliance to organisational and legislative governance frameworks and standards.
- Ensuring the required governance and alignment of Group Talent within the Group.
- Managing identification and mitigation of Group Talent risks.
Future-Fit
- Ensuring Group Talent is appropriately structured and resourced to deliver on
