**JOB TITLE**:VEHICLE TRACKER**
- **REPORTS TO**:OPERATIONS MANAGER**- **JOB OVERVIEW**

The tracker or vehicle tracking clerk, often referred to as a fleet tracking, is responsible for monitoring and managing vehicle tracking systems within the organization and ensuring that vehicles are on route and complying with the various rules and regulations.

**-**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Monitoring/tracking of company vehicles and tracking devices.
- Daily reporting of occurrences.
- Reporting of irregular activities.
- Communicating with drivers and fleet controllers.
- Reason for route deviation.
- Reason for delay.
- Violations of the rules and regulations
- Reporting of issues to the relevant department
- Real-Time Monitoring: Continuously monitoring the location, speed, and movement of vehicles in real time.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing tracking data to assess vehicle performance, route efficiency, and driving behavior.
- Reporting: Generating reports on vehicle usage, mileage, and other metrics for management review.
- Safety Oversight: Monitoring driver behaviors to enhance safety and reduce the risk of accidents.
- Such other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- These duties may vary depending on the organization and the specific tracking systems used.

**-**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CCTV).**REQUIREMENTS**:
**3 - 5 Years experience in a vehicle fleet tracking role**

Pay: R8 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
