An industry leader in the industrial weighing equipment industry is searching for a highly motivated and skilled Fleet Controller

**_Job Summary:_**

**_Responsibilities:_**
- Conduct daily monitoring of fleet operations by utilizing tracking systems and cameras
- Fuel supply management
- Process fleet costing
- Stay up to date and compile reports on fleet (i.e. fuel usage, vehicle costs)
- Maintain tracking system in line with operational needs
- Coordinate the scheduling of repairs and servicing of fleet and equipment
- Manage compliance with road regulations and licensing
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced on a regular basis
- Monitor equipment usage and performance to identify areas of improvement
- Manage fleet inventory
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies (i.e. equipment certifications)
- Assist with training and onboarding of new employees on equipment operation and maintenance
- Maintain driver certification, licensing and accreditation
- Mitigate all risks to minimize lost time
- Manage on route mechanical and tyre breakdowns to minimize disruptions and maintain operational continuity

**_ Qualifications:_**
- Qualification in Logistics, Fleet Control or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet management or related field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and fleet management software
- Knowledge of industrial weighing equipment and maintenance procedures
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
