MRP Controller

Responsibilities
- Work in accordance with Downer’s values and demonstrate commitment, active involvement and leadership regarding zero harm, client, people and financial accountabilities.
- Liaises with the factory and safety manager to plan and procure consumables, materials and parts to meet production requirements.
- Collaborates with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials, consumables and parts to meet production requirements.
- Responsible for stock accuracy
- Responsible for QC on all goods received
- Ensures efficient and cost effective logistics and tracks goods in transit with freight forwarders and transporters to ensure on time delivery
- Negotiate delivery lead times and prices with suppliers for consumables, materials and parts
- To fulfil the purchasing function of stores for consumables, materials and parts
- Responsible for cycle counts and quarterly stock takes.

**Qualifications**:

- Purchasing and supply, stores management or operations management qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in stores in a manufacturing or production facility.
- MRP (SAP, JDE) experience crucial.
- Diligence and good work ethic.
- Driver Licence essential, Forklift licence advantageous
Package & Remuneration

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R17,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mthatha, Eastern Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Certificate (preferred)
