Senior Internal Auditors are responsible for actively planning and monitoring internal audit assignments and activities under the supervision of their direct reporting structure for the project.

Assignments vary in complexity and are carried out with mínimal supervision.

The Senior Internal Auditor reviews and analyzes transactions, documents, records, reports and accounts relating to client operations and functions and prepares and reviews acceptable working papers and audit reports of findings.

Attention to detail,
Excellent communication skills to ensure appropriate engagement on audit findings
Computer literacy - proficient in MS Office
Technically competent in performing all types of internal audits in accordance with the IIA's International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards)
Ability to perform detailed process and system analysis
Ability to work on multiple ERP systems, SAP Systems(Advantageous)
Adequate knowledge of the internal audit process
Ability to identify and document risks and controls
Ability to compile an audit program to address the risks identified
Ability to identify audit issues, root causes and transcribe this into a well written finding
Ability to review work done by junior and internal auditors;
Ability to plan and manage two projects at a time;
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work alone or in a team
Be able to liaise with various levels of management regarding audit findings
Proficient with IT general control and governance audit areas and processes will be an added advantage
The ability to concentrate on specific tasks for extended periods and finalise those timeously.
The ability to work towards meeting continuous deadlines
20% to 40% out of town work commitments

Qualifications:
Four year qualification in Internal Audit
B.Com Honours Internal Audit /or Informatics /or Computer Science / BTech Internal Audit
CIA / CISA would be advantageous
IT Audit experience would be an advantage
**Experience**:
Minimum 2 years' experience in similar Senior Internal Audit position
IT Audit and data analytics experience would be an advantage
Knowledge of Internal Audit Standards, King, Corporate Governance, controls and models.
Experience in Big 4 audit and consulting firms will be added advantage

**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month
