Are you a Sales Representative in the Food Industry calling on bakeries, distributors, and re-sellers? Do you have a proven sales track record which shows your success in the industry?

Our well-established National client is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Representative to manage their customer base in the Northern Suburbs and grow their Eastern Cape region.

You will be required to increase sales, build strong customer rapport and be the front face of the business at the Cape Town branch.

**Requirements**:

- Matric, relevant qualification advantageous
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience in Food Service industry
- Strong general knowledge of the food industry
- Must have own transport and valid driver license
- Must have excellent communication skills in English both written and spoke

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Growing the Western and Eastern Cape Regions
- Be the front face of the business
- Selling to bakeries and manufactures
- Achieve sales volumes, targets and KPI’s
- Cold calling, sourcing, and acquiring new business
- Form new and continue existing relationships with companies in the customer database by visiting them in person, maintaining phone contact and addressing issues or problems when they come up
- Achieve monthly targets
- Negotiating sales/pricing
- Implementing sales driver activities
- Maintaining recommended selling prices
- Educating and presenting to outlet owners
- Ensuring customer satisfaction
- Building and maintaining relationships
- Travelling to various customers daily
- General Administration
