A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 2 children

**Area**:Brummeria, Pretoria
**Children’s Ages**:4, turning 5 in Jan - Boy & 2 year old - Girl
**Working hours**:6 - 14 January 2025** Monday - Friday 07:30 - 16:30 / **15 January - onwards** Monday-Friday from 15.00-17.30
- An additional 3 hours on Sunday afternoons would be a bonus, but not a necessity, and is negotiable and paid additionally. _
**Duties**:School pick-up, then bring the children home, then play with them until 17.30. Sometimes preparing dinner for the children/family. Included in ‘play time’: Socialising with other au pairs, families and children on our compound. Taking the children to our local playground, play space, and swimming pool on the compound (including swimming with them). Sometimes taking them to children’s play areas elsewhere in Pretoria, or to playdates with friends etc. Occasional babysitting (by prior agreement).
**Special Requirements**: Driver’s license and own car, First aid training and comfortable and able to swim with the children.
**Start Date and contract term**:16 - 24 December 2024 (Onboarding and Introduction week) / 6th of January 2025 - permanent contract
**Salary**: R6500pm + SARS rates per km. Additional pay given for extra hours required from the 6 - 14 January 2025

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
**Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
**Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
**Must have a clear criminal record
**Must have a passion for children
**Must have Matric
**Must have a South African ID document.
