**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- Must have a relevant tertiary qualification
- 5-8 years experience within the agricultural regulatory environment is essential
- Solid understanding of Act 36 requirements will be required
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be able to build relevant relationships within the industry and at the registrar
- Driving the agenda of the association in all public and government forums.
- Providing technical insight and knowledge to government forums with the objective of ensuring best practice.
- Influencing guideline development in the interests of sustainability and member interests.
- Providing feedback to members on stakeholder engagement.
- Influencing and driving long term strategies in the industry.
- Coordinating regulatory liaison and communication meetings.
- Be acquainted with all guidelines published by the Registrar.
- Be familiar with legislative requirements by studying relevant documents pertaining to registration of agricultural remedies.
- Informing and training committee members in changes in regulatory policies or procedures.
- Communicating regulatory information to committee members and ensuring that information is interpreted correctly.
- Monitoring emerging trends regarding both industry regulations as well as potential environmental issues (locally and abroad), to determine potential impacts on various company businesses.

**Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience.
