**SCHOOL OF EDUCATION**

**TECHNICIAN (TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION)**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)/ Degree in Civil Engineering **OR**Mechanical Engineering **OR**related
- A minimum of 2 years working in practical workshops/ working with the learners or students in tertiary level or in a school

**Additional Recommendations**:

- An Artisan/Safety Certificate (e.g. NOSA) will be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills

**Summary of Duties**
- Assisting in the running of Civil Technology / Mechanical Technology practicals and other duties as assigned by the Head of School.
- Assist and guide in the use of and operation of hand tools, basic workshop machinery (drilling, cutting, grinding machine)

**Salary**: Market related, plus benefits
