Ssa Design Director

**Responsibilities**: **_Location - Johannesburg / Cape Town_** **_Key Accountabilities_** - Lead development and delivery of the Design agenda within Brand strategy in SSA, across innovation, activation and communication - to support Net Revenue growth and grow share of market._ - _ By bringing centralized/above-market oversight and resources, we will ensure more strategic coherence and more synergies across portfolio offerings._ - _ Responsible for brand design to support category growth strategy across the full suite of PepsiCo SSA._ - _ This marketing leader will champion coordination with Sector related to Design._ - _ Supports brand equity, SOM and innovation agenda, including geo extensions across the region._ - _ Lead develop and mentor Team of 6 Design Associates._ - _ Works closely with both the markets and the global functions to deliver brand activation and innovation plans that maximize leverage of global brand assets whilst identifying regional specifics needs and developing marketing solutions as needed._ - _ Leading the global creative development of PepsiCo SSA communication_ - _ Ensuring the future success of the brands through Design._ - _ Unlocking Design solutions to drive expansion into market white spaces._ - _ Developing multi-marketing, multi-brand media playbooks to deliver the strongest media plans to drive efficiencies and best practice_ Qualifications: **_Special Professional Certificates Requirements_** - _ Familiarity with a variety of software programs, such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Flash._ - _ Evidence of participation in ongoing professional development opportunities in the areas of graphic design or social media._ - _ Web design experience an advantage, especially using HTML5 and WordPress._ **_ Years of experience required_** - 12 years’ experience in the field of Design and Communication with at least 5 years in a Senior Management role, likely within a creative agency context._ **_Education Background & Skills_** - 4-year tertiary qualification in the field of Marketing/ Commercial or Business_ **_ “PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"_
