**Cape Town, South Africa** **Remote first - Hybrid Working** **Requirements**: You'll be responsible for credit control of our clients, including credit rating assessments, cash collection and debt recovery tasks, resolving client queries, proactively chasing internal departments for help in resolution of client queries. **Responsibilities you will be keen to take on**: Resolving any discrepancies, collections problems and customer queries. - Controls and reconciles accounts as directed by credit control supervisor. - Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices. - Liaising with Account Managers. - Payment allocations - daily bank and cheque postings. - Creating direct debit runs. - Raising credit notes requests to Client Coordinators and Account Manager & refunds to Credit Control Supervisor - Preparing regular customer statements. - Checking customer’s credit ratings. - Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors’ days. - Preparing the bi-weekly Cash report for Senior Leadership Team. - Team holiday cover. **With your credit control experience and skill, you're able to/have**: - Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Quick and accurate data inputting skills. - Strong attention to detail with a keen ability to identify errors. - Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. - Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels. - Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail. - Competency with large ERP systems. **Generic essential individual attributes** - Proactive and positive 'can do’ attitude at all times. - Microsoft Excel and Work skills. - Flexible approach to work and workload. - Open honest approach at all times. - Customer focused (internal and external customers). - Team Player. - Supportive. **Benefits** Click here for the list of benefits.
