A vacancy exists in Middelburg as a Control Room Operator, reporting to the Operations Manager.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade B PSIRA (SOB) registered and accredited, with traceable references
- Own reliable transport.
- Computer Literacy in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc) and CCTV Operating Systems.
- Strong organizational skills, as well as good interpersonal communication and liaison skills are essential.
- Must be able to work under pressure and for extended hours as and when required
- Work independently and within a team.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in the security industry Control room
- Fluent in English
- No criminal record
- Must be reliable and trustworthy
- Must reside in the Middelburg area.

**Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive)**:

- Informing duty managers of incidents as and when required
- Dispatching of guards
- Ensuring that all sites are covered
- Able to record all incidents in a Occurrence Book (OB) as well as in a Electronic OB
- Receiving complaints and informing management accordingly
- Able to transfer knowledge to guards accordingly
- Able to exercise and maintain discipline
- Able to follow instructions accurately
