The position reports to the **Navigation Specialist**

**Your specific responsibilities will include**:

- Uploading product and merchant data by using various systems (Cat Admin, Dashboard or Excel spreadsheets)
- Reviewing data for gaps or errors and resolving or escalating issues to the Team Lead
- Managing individual workloads and adhering to a predetermined turnaround time
- Assist with management and resolution of all escalations in the team
- Assist with time management and attendance
- Assist with debugging of data quality issues and appropriate escalation to ensure immediate resolutions where possible
- Assist with Weekly Opco reports when required
- Assist with chairing team meetings
- Assist with additional Catalogue Operations Projects

**Load Sheet Management and Maintenance**:

- All Load Sheets and Department Updaters are downloaded on a weekly basis for both the Seller & Supplier
- Discrepancies in the titles, descriptions, column ordering, stray columns & spacing is amended.
- Example sheets are checked to ensure that the links on the instruction pages work correctly
- Ensuring that the example sheets are up to date and that they accurately illustrate a good listing.
- Adding new self-generating look-up tabs to Load Sheets
- Ensure that New brands are added to the Load Sheets
- Existing TH Nodes which have been renamed have updated in the Load Sheets
- Existing TH Nodes paths, if changed, reflects under the new Parent Node
- Creation of New Attributes with their new values
- Creation of New Categories
- Creation of New TH Nodes and Mappings to MH Categories
- Adding new self-generating look-up tabs to Load Sheets
- The setting of new default values where needed
- Any exclusions of attributes, categories and/or drop-down values
- Setting of Attributes as Required, Fake Required or Recommended
- Conversion of Attributes to Categories, and vice versa
- Conversion of normal attributes to variant attributes
- Conversion free-text columns to drop down columns/ vice versa - this requires liaising with Christopher to create an engineering ticket.
- Updates to all load sheet configurations to Seller & Supplier Overrides
- Ensure that the Category Tree Lookup and Global Category Tree Lookup is updated
- Troubleshooting and problem solving with regards to Load Sheet issues
- Updating all Department updaters with the latest attributes
- Regenerating load sheets at 8 am & 12 pm daily

**Quarterly Load Sheet Rollouts**

Typically occurs every 3 months.
- DQM tickets with actions for each load sheet is logged
- Creating a Google Document Log containing an in-depth scope for Load Sheet Rollout
- Liaising with Retail Buyers on the review of all updates to affected Load Sheets
- Ensuring that all Load Sheets are tested by the CAT OPS Listing Teams and any issues are resolved timeously.

**Creation of New Load Sheets**
- Creating a Google Document Log containing an in-depth scope for New Load Sheet
- Creation and setting of Required & Recommended attributes and their drop-down values
- Ensuring that the new Top Nodes & all new categories are in the load sheet and irrelevant ones are excluded
- Liaising with applicable Retail Buyers on the review of the New Load Sheet
- Testing of the new load sheet to ensure that it is working correctly and resolving any issues timeously.

**ADHOC Tasks**:

- Prep google sheets required and recommended fields as needed when requested
- Updating the Variants Google sheet when new variants are created
- Using MySql to pull reports on request
- Running Knime workflows for: Image Reports and Load sheet errors report
- Maintenance of Hard & Soft Block word library
- Porn search delinking

**Attributes Required**:

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- National Senior Certificate
- Relevant tertiary qualification is a significant advantage
