POSITION: CRATES CLECK
About the Position:
To administer the Crates as per company requirements.
Working Conditions:
- Contract type: Permanent
- Overtime hours are applicable for this position
- Number of positions: One
- Location of position: KwaZulu - Natal
The position will be responsible for but not limited to:
Invoices:
- Checking invoices from trip sheet/ routes daily. Tallying invoices for the day and logging any outstanding invoices from the route.
- Ensuring trip sheet is completed correctly.
- Compiling shortage invoices. Liaising with drivers on missing invoices and returned products.
- Processing invoices for credit. (short and returns invoices)
- Sorting invoices. Compiling missing invoices after sorting daily invoices.
- Making invoice check report daily.
- Assisting with invoice requests.
Crates
- Capturing Crates per route daily (per store, Albany, KFC, Spar DC & Vector) (& sending out reports daily after capturing.)
- Crates stock control and daily/weekly counts. Holding cage inspection.
- Daily record of crates dispatched, and crates returned(accurately). Compiling daily and monthly crates figures.
- Issuing crates according to requisition from internal departments.
- Daily Chep system administration. Check Chep system & accepting /transfer movement on Chep system. Pulling invoices/ statements and reports from the Chep system.
- Ordering Chep crates according to store order requirements (spar dc and vector)
- Tracking of Chep orders (daily & monthly). Summarising account stats.
- Raising any Chep Account issues.
- Overseeing crates usage.
Returns:
- Returns. Handing over paperwork and products for investigation to the quality department.
- Logging return products to the quality department. Ensuring hand over of reusable products.
- Updating returned stock report weekly and sending out stats.
Office:
- Inter-department communications on invoices and crates issues.
- Creating and updating live reports on one drive.
- Accurate record keeping. (soft and hard copies)
- Drawing-up, amending and editing reports to accommodate any new changes/ processes.
- Filing.
- Reporting issues immediately. Assisting when needed.
- Communications.
- Ensuring office housekeeping.
**To be successful in this role you will need to meet the below requirements**:
- Grade 12
- 1-2 years relevant experience
- Strong Communication Skills and ability to deal with employees
- Problem
- solving Techniques
- Able to follow instructions
- Must be able to comply with deadlines
- Planning and Organising skills
