**AREA: Cape Town, Bellville**

**SALARY / CTC : R 9000**

**REPORTS TO: Logistics Manager**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Driving**:

- Operate and drive company vehicles, adhering to all traffic rules and regulations.
- Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.

**Delivery and Collection**:

- Ensure the accurate and timely delivery or collection of goods as per schedule.
- Handle loading and unloading of materials with care to prevent damage.

**Customer Service**:

- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries or pickups.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour at all times.

**Vehicle Maintenance**:

- Report any mechanical issues or defects promptly.
- Regularly inspect and maintain the cleanliness of the company vehicle.

**Documentation**:

- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and submit on time.
- Keep records of trips, including fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance activities.

**Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while driving and handling materials.
- Participate in safety training programs as required.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Valid Code 10 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a Code 10 Driver.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, routes, and regulations.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Physical fitness for loading and unloading tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reside near or around Bellville, Cape Town

**Additional Requirements**:

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is a plus.
