ThoroughTec Simulation, based in Durban, is seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working Electrical Quality Control Inspector to join their Quality Assurance Department, in a full-time capacity.

**Location**: Durban, South Africa
**Remuneration**: Market-related
**Experience Level**: Junior

Key responsibilities will include:

- Electrical inspection of electric/ electronic components, assemblies and PCB’s.
- Test and evaluation in accordance with the organisation’s quality standards and/or customer requirements
- Generating accurate inspection reports
- Operating as part of a broader quality control team
- Communicating quality-related matters both internally and externally.
- Prior quality control experience in a manufacturing environment
- An ability to work in a cross functional team with challenging deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects at one time
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office packages
- An understanding of electrical principles
- An ability to read and understand Electrical drawings
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 practices within a quality control environment
- Good organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- An ability to set and improve quality standards within supply base
- A positive and engaging attitude in dealing with people at all levels within the organisation.
