Lab Technician Axxis

**Overview**:
The purpose of the job is to manage, maintain, construct, assemble, modify and repair the AXXIS blasting equipment and underground pump controller equipment, plant equipment and test equipment. Responsible for managing the entire value chain including field support.

**Qualifications**:

- National Technical Certificate N4 (Electronic Engineering)

**Experience**:

- 2 years soldering and assembling demonstrated experience
- 1 year demonstrated experience dealing with circuits
- 1 year demonstrated experience in basic electronic testing equipment

**Duties**:
**Blasting Equipment Maintenance**
- Responsible for keeping good maintenance records for blasting equipments.
- To ensure that the plant equipments are properly maintained and in good functional state.

**Equipments Testing**
- To assist with the production testing of equipments.
- Responsible for assembling the blasting equipments and plant testers.
- Responsible for modifications of blasting equipment and plant testers.

**Maintain Reports and Manuals**
- Responsible for ensuring that all the equipment location track records, equipment status and maintenance history is kept.
- Keep logs and reports that outline tests run, parts used, repairs completed, and troubleshooting steps followed.

**Update Software and Run Tests on Existing Equipment**
- Upgrading software and running software tests on existing electronic systems.
- Maintaining detailed records of validity tests and upgrades performed.
