**Introduction**

An opportunity has arisen for a Reporting Specialist to join the Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Actuarial team and gain exposure to the Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Group. The function supports the Actuarial Financial Reporting of the wider group. The function also supports the various regulatory actuarial reporting and governance functions.

**Role Purpose**

Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Actuarial is looking for an individual whose primary responsibility will be to assist in the consolidation and enhancement of reporting on the financial and regulatory bases with a specific focus on the link between the actuarial and accounting legs. The position will provide exposure to the wider Momentum Metropolitan Group.

**Requirements**:

- Chartered Accountant, B.Comm Accounting or equivalent qualification.
- Two to three years’ working experience in a finance environment.
- A good working knowledge of a consolidation tool is preferable, i.e., Cognos Controller.
- A good working knowledge of the MS-Office packages, specifically Excel.
- Be versatile and open to learning opportunities.
- Have an ability to work accurately and with an attention to detail.
- Have the ability to network and cultivate relationships.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Link between the IFRS Reporting and Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Actuarial teams:

- By translating the accounting impacts on the actuarial consolidation (i.e., acquisitions, complex intercompany transactions, etc.);
- Preparing all accounting inputs required for the consolidation of quarterly financial valuations on the various reporting bases (i.e., Embedded Value, Regulatory, etc.).
- Development/enhancement of governance processes for all reporting outputs within the team to increase ease of use and robustness.
- Development/enhancement of processes to streamline reporting across the group.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as they arise.
