Village Supervisor

ECHO Foundation was founded in 1991. It is a registered Section 21 Company, established as a non-profit company. The Foundation houses over 1,500 residents within its villages and frail care facilities.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the health and safety of all Residents continuously.
- Responsible for confirming the wellbeing of all Residents daily.
- Supervise staff and ensure all work is carried out.
- Attend meetings with Resident committees & at Head office.
- Inspect Village regularly and ensure general maintenance are done as required.
- Oversee contractors whilst on site.

**Qualifications required**:

- Grade 12

**Skills required**:

- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Staff management skills.
- Customer service orientated.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Basic general maintenance knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English and Afrikaans).
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Attention to detail.
- Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Good time management skills.

**Work Experience**:

- 2 - 3 years’ service industry experience.
- 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position.
- Experience within the retirement sector will be advantageous.

On site cottage provided.

Commencement date: 1 March 2026

Location: Port Elizabeth
