We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **Payroll Administrator** to assist with the accurate and timely processing of payroll using **Sage 300**. This role focuses on supporting payroll operations, maintaining accurate employee data, and ensuring compliance with payroll legislation while providing administrative support to the HR team.

**Qualifications & Experience Requirements**:

- Matric / Grade 12.
- Diploma or Certificate in Payroll, HR, or related field (advantageous).
- 2-3 years’ experience in payroll administration.
- Experience with **Sage 300 Payroll** (essential).
- Basic understanding of South African payroll legislation (PAYE, UIF, SDL).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll on Sage 300.
- Capture and update employee information and payroll changes (new hires, terminations, benefits, deductions).
- Support the payroll team with reconciliation of payroll data and generation of reports.
- Maintain and organise payroll records and documentation.
- Assist in preparing statutory submissions and payments (PAYE, UIF, SDL).
- Respond to employee payroll queries professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company payroll policies and procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department when required.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Working knowledge of Sage 300 Payroll.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Organised and able to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Knowledge & Advantages**:

- Knowledge of basic HR practices.
- Exposure to payroll reconciliations.
- Experience in a multi-entity or multi-country payroll environment (advantageous).

Pay: R17 500,00 - R20 000,00 per month
