**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:Presales Engineer Internship

The list referred to below is by no means exhaustive but simply serves to commit the Employee’s primary duties and responsibilities to writing.

**Main Purpose of Position**:
The Pre-Sales Engineer Intern role entails, amongst others, aligning with specified technologies, designing, and build of accurate technology configurations and solutions by studying and understanding partner requirements as well as planning and delivering technology services.

**Duties and Responsibilities of the Intern**:

- You will be assigned to your designated Pre-Sales Mentor.
- You are required to demonstrate a fast-learning ability.
- You are required to meet deadlines in terms of study requirements.
- You are expected to strictly follow all training-related programmes and initiatives allocated by your mentor/manager.
- You must adhere to and follow the instructions of your mentor and complete all assigned tasks on time.
- At times you will accompany your mentor to meetings and workshops.
- You may be expected to job-shadow for your mentor or assigned technical lead.
- You must report to work early and on time.
- Your working hours are between 08:00 - 17:00.
- You must be able to answer technical questions regarding allocated product/s and/or technologies.
- You will be working closely with Brand and Vendor technical teams to understand new technical developments in the IT industry.
- You are required to keep your certifications up to date active and renew certifications as and when required by management.

**KPI’s**
- The Pre-Sales Engineer Intern will carry KPIs relating to the following:

- Number of technical partner engagements,
- Number of OEM engagements.
- Number of Technical Sales engagements at partners.
- Required Certifications, as determined and assigned by management, remaining current and up to date**.**

**Qualifications Required**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technologies or bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering and or Computer Science.
- Azure Certifications preferable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelors (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Azure Certifications (preferred)
