**Responsibilities of Key Roles not limited to**:
**1) Oversee Dispatch Operations**
- Oversee controls around dispatching to ensure that only invoiced products leave the bakery at the right quality.
- Optimize route planning to reduce delivery times and fuel consumption
- Ensure that all products leaving the bakery arrive on time at the customers satisfaction.
- Ensure that log sheets are reviewed. This will reduce unauthorized use of vehicles.
- Manage delivery fleet in terms of maintenance and services.

**2) Daily Floor Operations**
- Ensure the right resources are available at the right times for optimal baking and service delivery. Ensure that we do not over staff or under staff.
- Manage staff discipline day to day for all staff in the bakery. This includes all staff at the store.
- Managing both the production and processing at the front-end operations to ensure quality products are prepared fresh and on time.
- Regularly check the quality of ingredients and finished products to ensure they meet the bakery standards
- Process all waste and ensure that waste is recorded. NO WASTE is allowed to be eaten or leave the building. It will be destroyed as per the SOP.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to ensure that the bakery has everything needed for daily production.
- Capturing hours of all employees and making sure payments to employees are on time and effortless for HR
- Compiling all new employee packs for HR, making sure new employees signed all documentation sent through to HR.

- Capturing and ensuring all cash purchases for the day are accounted for
- Assist with the daily cash up to ensure that it is completed and balance.
- Equipment breakdown and maintenance to be managed. Preventative maintenance to be carried out regularly.
- Adhere to health and safety standards and ensure that the safety file is kept up to date.

**3) Inventory Management**
- Take charge of all stock counts and investigate all instances of theft.
- Investigate variances after stock take and report to the Inventory Manager, as to where the problem areas are.

**4) Budgets**
- Adhere to the budgets given by management.
- Regularly tracking income and expenditure to ensure that budget targets are met.
- Comparing actual financial performance against the budget to identify variance
- Compiling weekly wage prediction on the wage percentage for the week.
