We are looking for a Site Foreman / Site Manager who can run a project and be based on site and report to Directors back in the office. You will need to be skilled in structures, brick work, paint work, interior & exterior plaster work and finishes

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities
- Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
- Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
- Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
- Resolve problems when they arise
- Report on progress to managers and Professional Teams

Skills required
- 10+ years experience as a Building Foreman
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines
- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Problem-solving abilities
- Good physical condition and stamina

Preference shall be given to local Franschhoek residents or residents in the Boland area as our Client wants someone who has relationships with local sub contractors

Own transport is essential
