Regional Field Operations Manager

The main duties will involve overseeing and directing the service department staff and efficiently managing their workload, including overtime and labor resource planning. As part of project management responsibilities, you will handle the allocation of parts and labor resources, starting from the initial site visit to the final installation, start-up, and commissioning phases. This position will entail a combination of field-based and office-based work, as well as occasional travel between branches.
**Basic responsibilities that will be expected from the successful applicant.**
- Develop strategies and ensure effective management of day-to-day services to meet customer needs.
- Recommend and implement policies to reduce costs and enhance service efficiency.
- Supervise and manage the maintenance manager and associated functions.
- Control workload, overtime, and labor resource planning.
- Enforce field rules and responsibilities for Field Representatives.
- Complete and submit service reports and paperwork in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to review projects, define equipment and service scope.
- Monitor project costs and overall profitability.
- Coordinate procurement, including equipment purchase orders and vendor coordination.
- Oversee mechanical and electrical installation, manage customer expectations.
- Obtain inspection and customer sign-offs, prepare final invoices.
- Ensure technicians have necessary training and tools.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer focus.
- Identify opportunities for value engineering in systems, processes, and designs.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, budgeting, and cash flow planning.
- Develop preventative maintenance budgets and schedules.
- Maintain service records and building compliance documentation.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in field service management or project management is required.
- Strong technical expertise and knowledge are essential.
- The individual should possess the ability to interact and build relationships with internal departments, customers, and management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary.
- Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Word and Excel, is required.
- Previous health and safety and/or hazmat training would be advantageous.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
- Flexibility in working hours is expected.
- A dynamic and passionate individual with a strong team-oriented mindset is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects within specified time, cost, and quality parameters.
