Panel Beater Duties

Daily tasks consist of but not limited to:

- Body and lead-filling
- Examination and construction of vehicles
- Sawing, chiselling, riveting, grinding
- Gas and MiG welding
- Brazing, metal cutting with oxyacetylene
- Plasma-arc metal cutting
- Remove and replace vehicle bumpers, panels, headlamps, doors, deck lid/tailgates
- Perform exterior and interior trimming, upholstery - dashboards and air conditioner
- Repair body component sliding roofs, electrics and vehicle glass
- Repair plastic components and glass fiber panels
- Perform minor dents and reshape a box section
- Align the upper body structure and re-align the body shell & frames

**Requirements**:
Qualified Panel Beater for 5 years plus

5-10 years’ experience (Semi-skilled or qualified)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
