Ecd Practitioner

Key Responsibilities:

- **Curriculum Development**:Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities based on early childhood education guidelines, considering individual child needs and learning styles.
- **Classroom Management**:Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment, ensuring children's well-being and supervising their interactions during playtime and group activities.
- **Child Observation and Assessment**:Regularly observe children's behavior and development, documenting progress through anecdotal records and developmental assessments to inform individual learning plans.
- **Parent Communication**:Establish positive relationships with parents, providing regular updates on children's progress, addressing concerns, and collaborating on child development strategies.
- **Basic Care Routines**:Assist with children's basic needs like feeding, changing diapers, dressing, and toileting.
- **Learning Activities**:Lead activities that promote various developmental areas such as language skills, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, cognitive development, and social interaction.
- **Individualized Support**:Provide additional support to children with special needs or developmental delays as required.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:Maintain accurate records of children's progress, including observations, assessments, and daily activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- **Education**: Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- **Experience**: Prior experience working with young children in a childcare setting preferred.
- **Child Development Knowledge**: Deep understanding of child development stages and learning theories.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- **Patience and Empathy**: Ability to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children with diverse needs.
- **Physical Ability**: Ability to lift and care for children throughout the day.
- **Compliance with Regulations**: Adherence to all safety and licensing requirements related to childcare practices
