**Sample Set QA - Durban**

Our client is searching for a Sample Set QA to be based at their Durban office.

**Key Performance Areas, Duties and Responsibilities**:
To primarily conduct audit and quality checks within the sample set as an internal assistant QA. This will involve assisting the QA and ensuring correct quality and measurements to spec and in line with brief requirements and requests prior to sending to Buyer’s & Technologist’s for approval.
Assisting with quality checks of fit samples, marketing samples, PP’s & BPS’ before submitting to the customer’s Technologists. Submitting workbooks with all relevant information and additional documents for the co-ordinating team.
Communicating with the co-ordinators, technologist’s, CMT’s and external suppliers on various sample requirements.
Managing Co-Ordinator briefs of new styles from pattern to seal. This will involve but not be limited to:

- Managing pattern maker timelines in terms of priority;
- Managing receipt of fabric & trims parcels from co-ordinators for sub-fabric fit samples as well as seal samples;
- Managing cutting of blocks for outwork panels and quality checks on panels received back.
The employee agrees to do such other tasks or additional duties or act in any other capacity as may be mutually agreed or reasonably requested or required for operational reasons.

**Experience**:

- Garment construction knowledge: 3 years (preferred)
- a Sample Set Quality Auditor: 3 years (preferred)
