Job Title: Floor Assistant

Reports to: Store Manager

Location: Rynfield, Benoni

Job Summary:
As a Floor Assistant, you will provide exceptional customer service, maintain store appearance, and support sales operations in our stationery store.

Punctuality, honesty and responsibility are key factors.

Key Responsibilities:
*Customer Service:*
- Greet customers, respond to queries, and provide product information.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues to management.

*Store Maintenance:*
- Restock shelves, display products attractively, and maintain store cleanliness.
- Organize and replenish inventory, reporting stock discrepancies.
- Ensure store signage and visual merchandising are up-to-date.

*Operations:*
- Assist with inventory management, receiving, and storing stock.
- Perform daily opening/closing procedures, including security checks.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays.

*Additional Responsibilities:*
- Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve store goals.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding customer and store information.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with transactions.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous retail experience.
- Basic computer skills.

Pay: R1 250,00 - R1 500,00 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Benoni, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
