**Job Purpose**:
Bidvest International Logistics is recruiting an Entries Clerk within the International Logistics Product.

The incumbent will tariff various commodities correctly, frame all types of Bill of Entries, including Ex Bonds in adherence with all relevant legislation, internal and external policies and procedures.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Matric / Grade 12 essential
- Completion of Customs Affairs courses or equivalent
- Forwarding Course or equivalent would be an advantage
- Computer literacy, i.e: Microsoft office suite and operating systems that generate Customs Bills of Entry
- 5 years experience in entry framing with experience in framing entries for General Cargo and Automotive Clients

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare draft Bill of Entry on Cargowise 1 for declaration to Customs
- Receive clearing files/instructions from Business Units/Client
- Ensure completeness of file documentation
- Verify accuracy on clearing documentation
- Submit for internal quality control to ensure correctness before submission of declaration to Customs
- Process Voucher for Correction (VOC) if required
- Batch import files in preparation for EDI upload
- Monitor release
- Print release Bill of Entry and submit to Business Unit
- Provide regular feedback on quality assurance
