**Position**: Senior Payroll Administrator

**Reporting to**:HR Manager

**General Job Description**:
This position is based Uitenhage South Africa. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this position will be responsible to ensure that Dana complies to all legal requirements of the government regarding HR and Payroll.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Manage and Control all local Payrolls
- Responsible for audit relating to payroll (internal and external)
- Accurate capturing of all payroll data on the VIP Payroll System, inclusive of leave
- Verify and validate hours worked
- Maintain all records on the Employee Central (Employee database) Database
- Manage and maintain all deductions and contributions
- Responsible for all headcount and payroll reporting
- Capture amendments on all Payrolls as first approver on variation changes such as new recruits, termination and remuneration and variable changes
- Print variance report, check against previous month and track all payroll activities on a tracking sheet
- Manage upload files and load into FHIRST
- Manage FHIRST system and compliance and tracking of files etc
- Prepare all monthly printouts
- Filing
- Tax reconciliation and submission mid-year and year end
- Responsible for accrual and provisions management
- Liaise and manage online declarations for 3rd parties
- Supply new employees with all necessary documentation
- Responsible for employee benefits and management thereof (Prov Fund, Medical Aid, etc.)
- Notify Provident Fund of new members
- Be aware of any changes in BCEA and Labour Law, and implementation thereof
- Prepare and understand salary journals
- Responsible for all payroll related reconciliations
- Manage all activities of payroll in the Company
- Manage all adhoc report requests

**Education & Experience**:

- Matric
- Payroll/Financial Payroll qualification would be advantageous
- 3 - 5 years Payroll Administrator experience including report writing experience, with in an automotive manufacturing industry with a payroll size of 500 plus.
- Experience of using Microsoft packages, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
- Financial acumen with regards to payroll with month ends, 3rd party payments, return submissions and tax reconciliations, balance payroll accounts
- English (fluency in reading, writing and speaking)
- Ability to interact at all levels
- SARS Annual submission experience is mandatory
- BCEA and MIBCO Conditions of Employment experience is essential
