**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Badge Technician is primarily responsible for: customer service support, facilities support, phone call service and trouble ticket resolution, and access management. While operating under close supervision of the Shift Supervisor, a Badge Technician is expected to execute on a number of standard operating procedures independently to support corporate employees and affiliates on a regular basis.
Identifying instances of misconduct at our client, conducting investigations, mitigating risks and ensuring that internal processes and procedures are always adhered to.

**Role Requirements**:
- Grade 12
- 5 years’ experience in an administrative, customer facing role
- PSIRA Grade A preferred
- Have the ability to multitask, and remain cordial and professional in stressful situations
- Have excellent phone etiquette and people skills
- Be a proactive problem solver
- Need to have a positive attitude and outgoing personality
- Need to be proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite
- Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in English
- Type at least 35 wpm

WORKING CONDITIONS (Physical/Mental Demands)

Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, media and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations

Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information
Regular talking and hearing
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25kg and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50kg.
Occasional walking, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling in the performance of site surveys
Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
Frequent travel to client sites for oral presentations, group meetings, and site surveys
Directing, motivating, training, coaching, and disciplining staff in a positive manner
Reading and analysing reports and financial data, including related computer usage
Responding on an on-call basis to emergencies and incidents at all hours
