- Effective planning, leading, organising and control within area of responsibility to achieve daily production, quality and safety targets
- Cost containment through effective budget management and efficient target achievement
- Effective stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth workflows and target achievement
- Efficient achievement of production and quality targets in line with DMR and project scope
- Proactive risk identification and mitigation in alignment with legal regulations, the client's and M&RC's standards, procedures and policies
- Effective self and team management in alignment with M&RC's values and leadership initiatives

**Minimum requirements**- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
- Diamond Drill Technical Skills Certificate or similar
- Blasting Certificate of Competency / Trade Certificate / Technical Diploma / Project Management Certificate (preferred)
- Possess either a recognised Shift Supervisor Certificate (includes Planning, Leading, Organising and Control) or a Supervisory Skills Certificate
- Competent A & B Certificates
- Valid EB Driver’s license
- Good English verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chargehand Diamond Drilling
- Exposure acting as a Shift Supervisor Diamond Drilling (advantageous)
- Experience conducting baseline risk assessments [essential]
- In-depth knowledge of diamond drilling operations, equipment and methods
