**A new vacancy has become available for a Merchandiser/Senior Costing Clerk. NB - must have Clothing Manufacturing Costings experience. You will be the link between the Buyers, Design Studio and the CMT factories to ensure merchandise, samples and garments are delivered timeously.**

**Costings**
- Preparation of cost estimates/quotes for new product/customers and product changes.
- Costing/calculating garment price based on industry percentages and averages, relative to customers target prices.
- Load and keep BOMS updated.
- Set-up accurate records for old and new product costings.
- Maintain customer inventory.
- Ad hoc duties may be required from time to time in line with the requirements of the role.

**Merchandiser**
- Correspondence with the buyer (regular updates on the order status).
- Liaise with and attend briefing sessions with Buyer.
- Getting approvals from the buyer on prices.
- Co-ordination, negotiation and follow up with the suppliers.
- Effectively communicating with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and internal team.
- Co-ordination with all the departments involved.
- Follow and understand the critical path, keeping it updated daily.
- Ensure all PO’s received are accurate.
- Contribute to achieving Turnover, GP & Stock budgets and other KPI.
- Budgeting and forecasting to maximize sales and profitability.
- Stock control to ensure that SOH maximized for in season trading.
- Raising of orders and submitting consolidations of seasonal Design Recovery.
- **Key Requirements**_
- 2 - 3 years retail experience in a Manufacturing environment is required.
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years work experience as a Merchandiser.
- 3 - 5 years experience as a costing clerk is essential.
- Relevant Clothing related tertiary qualification is advantageous.
- Microsoft office proficiency (Word, Excel and Outlook) - advanced Excel beneficial.
- Centric (PLM) knowledge advantageous.
- Experience with Sync will be highly advantageous.
- Team player.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound numerical, analytical thinking & logical problem-solving skills.
- Strong planning, organizing, administrative and coordinating skills.
- Methodical, detail-orientated, and accurate.
