Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Employee Relations Consultant to join a well-established company in Capetown.
assists in implementing the overall network labor strategy, working directly with specialists, Labour Relations in addressing and resolving labor and employee relations matters.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree plus PGD Labour Law and/or A degree in Law.
4 years of Employee Relations experience
In-depth knowledge of labor laws and collective agreements.
Experience in collective bargaining, including management of strike action and lockouts.
CCMA and litigation experience.
must be proficient in English and Afrikaans
Must have a driver's license.
Administrative duties
Coordinates with the HR & ER Director to review and updated various HR policies for federal/state compliance
SKILLS
Excellent verbal / written communication and presentation skills
Able to influence outcomes with patience, follow-through, professionalism, and confidentiality
Ability to facilitate diverse groups and lead others in collaborative efforts
Able to work in a partnership environment and cooperatively with labor organizations
Experience in drafting and writing contractual language
