Sales Consultant to Trade Customers

We are looking for a Sales Consultant to Trade Customers for a busy furniture and lighting retail outlet in Hillcrest, Durban.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- The role of this position is to service our well-established trade customer base with their lighting projects. An interest in interiors will assist this person to be successful in this position.
- As you will be engaging with our online and website queries, you will also keep the website up to date with any product changes.
- This is an office bound position reporting to the company owner.
- A second objective is to ensure our website is well maintained and information accurate (training will be given for this)
- This position requires developing strong relationships with our client base as well as growing this base.
- To engage with our existing customer base to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- To offer excellent customer service.
- Be proactive in seeking out new sales avenues.
- To complete accurate quotes and other sales admin.
- Willingness to learn and go the extra mile.
- Good time management.
- Be a team player.
**Required skills**:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Ability to use MS Office
- Customer liaison/sales experience minimum 3 years
- Any WordPress or social media experience beneficial
