**OVERVIEW**
KP Dev Institute (KDI) is a research-led development company offering socio-economic and enterprise development (SE.ED) services across the country. One of the most essential programmes offered by KDI is enterprise development (ED) in rural, township and peri-urban settings. ED Facilitation and Development is key to growing local economies and contributing towards job creation in South Africa. KDI views entrepreneurship as one way of unlocking growth potential of small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) in communities.
**THE ROLE**
KDI is looking for an enthusiastic Enterprise Development (ED) Facilitator who will ensure effective enterprise development programmes facilitation. The facilitator will report to the Lead Enterprise Development Programmes Manager.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Facilitation**
- Facilitation lesson planning.
- Preparing and administering of the facilitation: Learning guides, assessment preparation, timesheets, additional study material, quizzes, brain teasers etc.
- Preparation of travel logistics and coordination of facilitation requirements and conditions as per client agreement.
- Facilitation of Stater Pack (Enterprise Development) programme modules.
- Grading, assessing, and providing learner feedback support.
- Compiling facilitation reports.
**Administration**
- Capturing, collating, and storing various means of verification (MOV).
- Filing of documents on SharePoint/drive.
- Additional administration support to the line manager.
**Finance**
- Monthly preparation and submission of invoices.
- Monthly reconciliation of paid invoices submitted invoices and expected monthly spend.
- Alignment to the KP finance department’s needs.
- Supplier communications management.
**Team**:
- Support overall BU strategy.
- Collaborate and assist in joint BU initiatives.
**Reporting**
- Compile Impact Reports.
- Compile quarterly reports on the beneficiary organisations.

**Requirements**:
The following qualifications, prior education, experience, and skills are considered necessary to support performance in this position. These learning’s is therefore assumed to be in place when the employee is considered for and appointed to the position.
- An honours Degree or equivalent in Administration, Commerce, Research or Development Community Trust experience or Development background will be beneficial.
- 1-2 years’ work experience within the Social Development Sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in data collection, review, analysis, and reporting.
- Exceptional administrative, organisational and communication skills.
- Confident driver with valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to juggle multiple tasks and be multi-faceted.
- Must be a problem solver.
