FINANCE Senior Valuation Data Surveyor - Valuations
**Requirements**:

- Matric/Senior Certificate.
- Additional qualification in Building Environment would be an

advantage.
- At least four to five years’ experience in a building drafting

or valuations environment.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License (Code B) and own

vehicle.
- Experience in some of the following: building drafting,

building survey inspections, interpretation of building plans
and acute analysis of property aerial imagery.
- Ability to do data collection, with the relevant data capture

on the Valuation Department’s GRM system, or sketching
on a CAD system.
- Good communication and customer relation skills as well as

some experience.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
- Computer literacy skills required in some of the following:
SAP LUM, GRM, DAMS, Geosense and Microsoft Office.
Key Performance Areas
- Conduct technical on-site building inspections, using the

approved equipment and related official documentation.
- Scrutiny of building property records and related

diagrams/plans on systems, to ensure efficiency of field
inspection time and economical resource allocation, as
well as identification of non-compliant building
development works.
- Engaging with residents to ensure access is gained to

survey properties, for correct attribute data collection, in
alignment with the City’s Customer Care initiatives.
- Ensure all relevant office administration work is processed

correctly and timeously.
- Co-ordinate with project work assigned within the team,

ensuring projects are delivered within the required
timeframe and budget constraints, or as required.
