We're on the lookout for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team on a project basis, contributing to the creation of standout marketing, event, and wedding videos. **Key Responsibilities**: - Edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos that align with client goals. - Work on a variety of video types, including marketing, event, product, social and wedding videos. - Create video selects or edit specific parts of videos, depending on project requirements. - Ensure exceptional quality in storytelling, pacing, colour grading, and audio editing. - Maintain brand consistency across different projects while adding a creative touch. - Bonus: Use Fusion (part of DaVinci Resolve) for advanced motion graphics or effects. **Requirements**: - Must provide work samples or portfolio demonstrating relevant experience. - Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve is essential. - Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for visuals. - Familiarity with online workflows in DaVinci Resolve is advantageous. - Marketing background or experience in marketing videos is an advantage. - Experience editing wedding videos or event videos is a plus. - Ability to adapt to different styles and client branding. **Preferred Skills**: - Familiarity with marketing strategies and social media video trends. - Flexibility to work with varying timelines and project needs. - Experience with motion effects, titles, and Fusion (DaVinci Resolve). **Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary Application Question(s): - Please share a link to your portfolio for us to view examples of your work. - What type of videos are your main area of expertise? - Which NLE do you work with? - What is your day rate? - What is your "per reel" rate?
