**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee routine and preventative maintenance across all club facilities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Manage and maintain clubhouse systems such as water pumps, geysers, air conditioning, and lighting.
- Supervise and assist with the maintenance of vehicles and small machinery, supporting the greenkeeping team where required.
- Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations, including PPE usage and safe working practices.
- Maintain and repair infrastructure such as paths, fencing, parking areas, signage, and storage facilities.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor landscaping and cleaning duties to ensure high presentation standards.
- Keep accurate maintenance records, manage budgets, and control costs effectively.
- Support emergency response procedures and provide technical guidance to staff.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 certificate; technical or trade certification (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical) advantageous.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in maintenance or handyman roles, ideally within hospitality, golf clubs, or leisure facilities.
- Knowledge of South African Occupational Health and Safety Act and safe working procedures.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Practical knowledge of building maintenance, HVAC, small engine repairs, and basic security systems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage maintenance budgets and preventive maintenance schedules effectively.
